A worn universal joint announces itself as a clunk on take-up and a vibration that builds with speed. Left alone it will eventually let go, and a dropped propeller shaft at speed does far more damage than the joint costs.

Replace joints in pairs on the same shaft and have the shaft balanced afterwards if it has been apart. We also stock centre bearings, which usually fail around the same mileage. Measure the cap diameter and cross width for an exact match.
